Born to a tavern owner and �hostess� in Halfirien, Anardacil Aelling was raised in relative obscurity. The youngster spent his days in the wilderness admiring the animals and exploring the caves in the nearby Firien Woods. Like most young Gondorians, at the age of 13 he went to work in his father�s tavern, �the Smiling Warg.� His duties were droll, ranging from changing the bedding in his mother�s and aunts� chambers to hunting fresh game for his father�s cooking.
On his 15th birthday, while he was off hunting, a mob of brigands attacked the tavern, killing everyone inside and burning the building to the ground. Sifting through the ashes, the young man found his father�s Polished Ancient Steel Spatula, inciting him to a fit of anger. It was then that he vowed to be the enemy of darkness. As he hunted down the brigands, he left the spatula imprint upon each brigands lifeless body, giving rise to a new man of legend.
Although the spatula is no more, �Flippster� continues to fight for the oppressed and to the end of the armies of evil.
